Frequent moves, new schools, and the demands of military life can create disruptions in care—but with the right strategies, children can continue to thrive. Discover practical strategies to support military-connected families and ensure every child’s progress continues—no matter where their journey takes them.

This session will highlight key considerations for supporting military families, including:

·       Continuity of Services: Best practices for transferring IEPs, 504 plans, and private therapy services across state and school lines.

·       Collaboration: How families can work with therapists from both their previous and new schools/offices to share insights, strategies, and progress—helping create continuity of services during transitions.

·       Military Resources: An overview of available supports, including School Liaison Officers, EFMP, and TRICARE coverage.
